Pope on a tube
Pope John Paul II could possibly get a permanent feeding tube. The 84-year-old pope might have a P.E.G. inserted to avoid weight loss. He may be experiencing difficulty with his food textures and the thickness of his liquids combined with his difficulty using the bite chew swallow skills necessary for a "safe swallow".

La Republica, quoted the pope's Vatican physician, Dr. Renato Buzzonetti, as saying doctors are "reasonably calm" about the frail pope's condition.

Head and chin positioning are especially critical for his safe swallow skills. Coordination of air flow with the swallowing of liquids must be timed just right....from my observations of the pontiff as he is seated in the window balcony blessing his flock.... he appears to be struggling with significant fine motor and midline difficulties probably making bolus control very difficult.

The muscle coordination for safe swallow of foods and liquids is challenging....all of us except a very few (like the pope) do not have to think at all....about our mouth muscles.... when we eat that double cheese burger and drink the cola while talking to our friends it is all automatic....count your blessings....

The food texture adjustments go from regular down to mechanical soft to puree to full liquid.....and the liquids go from regular thin to thickened to syrup thick....now both foods and liquids have several more levels ... The liquids are more tricky because they can be aspirated into the lungs easily. When you are at your best you get Steak 'n eggs with coffee and when your are at your end you get syrup thick liquids and then onto the tube if you so choose.

Head position and chin position/adjustments combined with texture adjustments within a therapeutic setting can result with a safe swallow.....sometimes. Somethings are easy and other things are more difficult within the therapeutic setting....but safety comes first.....no reason to take the risk of aspiration....Everyone can participate in the safe eating procedures during the rehabilitation process.

Loved ones include the loving Pope Paul and all his loved ones in your prayers...visualize him enclosed with a White Bubble of unconditional love...the White Light of the Holy Spirit...

In 1967 I register for the U.S.draft in Moscow Russia
My father was an 101 Airborne Jump School Instructor... so out of High School I was ready to hit the ground and go do my duty. The way God made me... I am a seeker... so first I went to Moscow to seek. I specifically went to the American Embassy and registered for the U.S. draft on my 18 th birthday 1967. A learning experience for a young Sam.

Leaving Finland going South on a single train car going into U.S.S.R. was really really weird. The experience of going from a California culture to a U.S.S.R. Soviet State was eye opening. {The Russian way felt like everyone and everything was owned by the post office and there was not a surplus of anything but vodka, bread'ncheese.} This last railroad "round house" at the Protected Border for Finland and Russia has a bunch of tracks coming in from the North and then only 1 single track going South into Russia. The area is kept flat with no grass/cover for a few miles as gun emplacements are spaced along this highly controlled zone. It felt weird!

The conflict in Vietnam was roaring on the other side of the planet...

One train track, one engine, one old polished wooden passenger car, four guards... 2 with machine guns in their hands and 2 with machine guns on their shoulders. Passing tank bunkers, border obstacles and then in the middle of a big flat plane we pull up to a pretty little candy store on the right...like you would see on main street at Disneyland.

Instructed to go into the store along with the other 20 or so passengers I observe a pretty white rock garden and a nice path into a brightly painted candy store with indoor/outdoor seating.

As I stepped down off of the lowest metal train step I noticed there were no cars anywhere. Upon entering the store it is obvious all the candy is plastic and fake...as is the entire setup.

The train and my belongings are searched, my passport taken and I am instructed to go back onto the train car, off again into a most different reality. From that point on I was followed 24/7 by my Official Russian Intourist Guide/s.

Entering Leningrad was entering living history...very friendly people, spectacular environment, awesome like San Francisco, California. These were loving people, wonderful and very friendly. They loved Americans. They loved anything American, Jazz, Jeans, anything Yankee. Right away I was invited to many parties with Teens about my age. We drank Champagne, sang, broke bread...the Russians played string instruments.... big parties an old fashion way...more organic... Interpersonal interactions..I did something besides drive a '56 Chevy's down first street till1 am blaring the Beach Boys on an 8 track. These young adults like myself were very very nice people in a very different culture...we sang, danced, made music...friendly people.

I made friends with was a political activist of the '60s type/Beatles/sergeant Pepper...he was upset about the many West Germans who were constantly trying to climb the Berlin Wall to escape into the East... out of western hands... he thought they were dying to get back into protected Mother Russia.

Repeatedly in the news... clips would be played of people risking their lives stuck on barbed wire..struggling to get over into East Berlin! He asked how the American Indian wars were doing and was it still dangerous out west with Indians cutting off peoples scalps!....then he asked me how much the government paid me to go to school! and is it true I can buy oranges in the store! Seek and you shall find, knock and the door will open. That nite we talked for a long time...he continues to be my friend... he and all his loved ones are always in my prayers. Yes I did go to the American Embassy in Moscow and I did register on my 18 th birthday for the U.S. draft.

Some months later back in San Jose, California I was called downtown to the draft office...I informed the gentleman I felt resistant to active participation in the current military action in Vietnam and felt better solutions might be found with enhanced communications.

The crisply dressed gentleman made eye contact and blew my statement off with a mild sneer. Pulling out my file he read I had just returned from Russia/Moscow. After a brief wait...a determination was made. He decided not to include me in his future plans.

Back then we were daily bombing the hell out of them. Big jets way up in the air dropping tons of poisons and other deadly substances. At the same time they were letting us have it with all they could afford....What the hell ! What were they/we really fighting about... was it not something we should have settled with a modest amount of humane interaction and civilized communications.
All of us paid a price for these lessons.
There are many lessons to be learned.

the next big Earthquake and then the anthrax
Way back in cave man times the giant mammoth had to fall into a trap and become injured before the 150 pound hunters could beat it to death with stones. The millions of uncontrollable enemies of our country are the without GPS guided bombs. We are safe and secure as long as we can kill'm faster than they can make 'um.

Loved ones....Consider this....our west coast is at present built on numerous active earthquake faults.....Imagine the streets and interstates are all suddenly closed because all the overpasses have fallen. Do not worry about gas prices...all the roads and streets are busted up. Consider all water and electricity is down because of two 7.9 earthquakes have just obliterated the infrastructure of the 7th largest economy in the world....Now visualize those currently present anthrax armed individuals with a very real grudge against the American government......Do you think they will hesitate to effectively release all the anthrax they can get their hands on ?

The numerous reported anthrax attacks on U.S. soil so far have been from a domestic source. The anthrax used here at home was reported by homeland security to be of the higher grade weapons type . This super deadly stuff is here and it is a bigger threat to you and me than a car bomb in Iraq.

This domestic anthrax threat has not gone away. We can bomb and fence "over there" in the middle east but the biggest domestic threat is already here in the good ole U.S. of A.

You can go ahead and click the clicker but your life threat program stays on a real reality TV show... even when the tv has long been without power.

Did you ever hear about this earthquake/anthrax threat on the national broadcast news.....I don't think so..... Hey do not think about it...Just keep looking at Michael Jackson walking into court....Just keep listening to your local news spout about social security reform...just keep watching the reruns of Terri being stroked by a loved one....do not...I repeat do not ever begin to conceptualize the actual state of our homeland. Oh by the way we killed more non Christians today thousands of miles outside our border with remote controlled little planes....I feel much safer now and please do not go to the following volcano cam because accurate knowledge about this will impact property values, long term west coast planning, the economy, transportation, water, blah, blah, blah..... do not, I repeat do not look here at home for immediate threats to everything we hold dear....look way way over there.....not here at home....keep your focus on something else....Michael Jackson, Terri, The Apprentice, American Idol....just keep clicking the clicker and relax...don't worry...

Digest this hard fact
Loved Ones exercise your will power and enclose the following individuals and animals with the White Light of the Holy Spirit. In South Africa there are plans to maintain a level number of healthy elephants with an elephant cull. Family groups of these loving beasts will get whacked all together. Our planet is one planet...We all are one. What are you going to do ? Imagine over a quarter million elephants running around.... The impact on an very limited environment... Hector Magome, the director of conservation services for South African National Parks, "We need to reduce the population now in the short term while we look at long-term solutions. We want the public to digest this hard fact." If the elephant population grows and grows the other animals who depend on the same very limited resources will diminish and become extinct. Petition... Loved Ones for the embryonic bubble of unconditional love to enclose all these entities and their loved ones.

Inca summer palace
Cusco, Peru is waaay the hell up in the mountains of South America. I needed oxygen
shortly after the plane landed. Mi espouse, Blanca was born there. The next day we took a Toyota taxi into the sierras...After a few hours of empty dirt road...Pulled off..Middle of absolute No where...And 5 children soon materialized running at full speed... pulling each other. The oldest was 8 and the little girl was probably 2 or 3. They all started singing at the top of their lungs...Each and every one of their faces was very tired and not very happy. This was their survival skill. No electricity, no telephones, no train track, very very little other than a beautiful sky, a cow, irregular rows of corn, a river and each other. Rain or shine they were outside most of the time. As they looked up singing I could see by the health of their skin... how they are outside all day in the elements of wind, a huge blue sky and a light burning within each of them. Big sister, while squeezing hands, did smile and spoke while the "choir" wailed at about 90Db. The little voices are beautiful and captured on my digital Sony video but the picture tells a different story. After praising and enjoying and shaking hands and dancing we passed out gifts. To each I gave and to the oldest I gave for her mama and papa.....Looking back out the car window I waved goodbye to these children covered in dirt.... The middle size boy squeezed the prize in his hand, he grinned and yelled "George Bush" as loud as he could. I smiled and included each of them, and all their loved ones in my prayers. Then we jumped in our taxi and drove off in a cloud of dust.....throwing kisses of course. On a different topic...That of healthy clean drinking water....Let us all visualize and enclose sources of pure Water..." Water is the lifeblood of industries and communities around the world, and scarcity, increasing demand and rising costs are driving the need to conserve, reuse and identify new supplies of this essential resource," said George Oliver, president and CEO of GE's Water & Process Technologies business. "By 2025, nearly 50% of the world's population will live in water stressed areas according to the World Meteorological Association and many in the Middle East face this reality today." Loved Ones enclose Mr. Oliver and all his loved ones with the White Light of the Holy Spirit and give blessing to the living planet upon which our physical being is composed.

Second Baptism
When you made the decision to incarnate, to become a physical being, you included in your deliberations which lessons were to be learned. You were looking forward as to the exact reasons for this incarnation and the fulfillment of your potentials. And as your tiny physical body grew from instructions coming from deep within.... you really did fully exercise your Spark of the Divine Will Power... Back then in those first moments of incarnational life. Only when you were ready with eyes to see and ears to hear, only then were you born. Not til then did you take your first breaths. So it is also true with your spiritual being emerging...your higher self manifesting and experiencing a second baptism. Just as you would not have survived it born too early without the needed attributes... so too with your spiritual development. Exercising your willpower, your ability to focus and your unconditional love creates a spiritual Baptism.....only after spiritual development with the seeker having eyes to see and ears to hear.

Earth is a school
As you very well know loved ones....every single day is a test. Life is a spiritual test. All of us are attending a planetary school for spiritual development. You could be a traumatic injury victim....you could be a 6th grade instructor.....you could be a truck driver....you can be any where on this earth and all of the following will apply. Really nothing of any major import on this planet is or was ever easy. Generally the more difficult life is the more you experience and learn....learning about compassion and not judging. Also the more ultra loving you are the more controversial you will be. Loved ones in truth the more loving you are the more difficult your life is....look at Our Lord Jesus the Christ. Also the more loving you are the faster you go when it is your time....look at Princes Di....look at John F. Kennedy....and you know from your own experiences how your own loved ones.....how those transitions transpired. Today make an extra effort from within and bless your own soul, bless and love yourself as within you now burns a Spark of the Divine. No one said this life would be easy....no one promised you a smooth path.....however loved ones I promise when the fork in the road comes and you return home.....I promise loved ones...I promise you will be fully appreciative of all your earthly experiences. You will be able to tolerate more light and even more unconditional love from our Divine Parents.
