“All we ask for in return is solidarity,”
Loved Ones…this is one small planet we all live on…we are all brothers and sisters….all under one absolute Deity….we all are one…really …really we all are of but one Source and of but one destination…give this some thought and you and I will learn all our lessons with the least amount of pain…it is simple loved ones…very simple and there are many lessons to be learned…

“All we ask for in return is solidarity,”

“It's infinitely better to invest in peace than to invest in war.”

Loved Ones…give this some thought…you and your health was held hostage by the GW Bush administration….not a foreign terrorist threatening you…but the so called “leader” of this countries government….this is a fact….Immediately after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, 1,500 Cuban doctors volunteered to come to the Gulf Coast. The offer of medical training is just one way Cuba has reached out to the United States.

They waited with packed bags and medical supplies, and a ship ready to provide backup support. Permission from the U.S. government never arrived.

Loved Ones…there are many lessons to be learned….we here in the states struggle with obtaining adequate health care while on a small and poor island just off our coast health care is a right…..in the words of Dr. Paul Farmer, Cuba is showing that “you can introduce the notion of a right to health care and wipe out the diseases of poverty.”

Loved Ones…. When a slum dweller in Port au Prince, a young indigenous person from Bolivia, the son or daughter of a farmer in Honduras, or a street vendor in the Gambia wants to become a doctor, they turn to Cuba

Loved Ones….in Cuba House calls are routine, in part because it's the responsibility of the doctor and nurse team to understand you and your health issues in the context of your family, home, and neighborhood. This is key to the system.
The story of Cuba's health care ambitions is largely hidden from the people of the United States, where politics left over from the Cold War maintain an embargo on information and understanding.

Loved Ones…now Barack Obama, the US president, has lifted restrictions on travel and money transfers to Cuba, the White House has said.

When a health hazard like dengue fever or malaria is identified, there is a coordinated nationwide effort to eradicate it. Cubans no longer suffer from diphtheria, rubella, polio, or measles and they have the lowest AIDS rate in the Americas, and the highest rate of treatment and control of hypertension.

The US also eased restrictions on communications, allowing radio and television firms to seek licenses to operate on the Caribbean island, which continues to endure a decades-old US economic embargo.

The president ordered the lifting of "all restrictions on the ability of individuals to visit family members in Cuba and to send them remittances," Robert Gibbs, the White House spokesman, said on Monday.

Previously, Cubans living in the US could travel to the isolated Caribbean nation only once a year and only send $1,200 per person in cash to family members there.

The White House also said Obama had asked officials to look at the possibility of direct flights between the US and Cuba, something also banned by previous US administrations

"The president has directed that a series of steps be taken to reach out to the Cuban people to support their desire to enjoy basic human rights," Gibbs said.

"These are actions he has taken to open up the flow of information."

It also comes in advance of Obama's trip to Trinidad and Tobago for the summit of the Americas later this week, where the embargo is expected to be raised by some Latin American leaders.

The new rules also expand the type of family members that remittances can be sent to from the US to include second cousins.

They also include expanding the type of items permitted in parcels being sent to Cuba by the approximate 1.5 million Americans who have relatives in Cuba, such as clothes, personal hygiene items, seeds, fishing equipment and other personal necessities.

The administration will also begin issuing licenses to allow US companies to provide mobile phones and television services to people on the island, and permit relatives to pay for family members there to get the services, the official said.

Raul Castro, the president of Cuba, eased restrictions in March last year on the ownership of phones, DVD players and cars and permitted Cubans to stay in foreign-owned hotels.

The move sparked hopes for further freedoms for Cubans under Raul, who took over the presidency after Fidel Castro, his brother, resigned in February 2008.

Several Latin American nations have been pressing for the US to lift its embargo, which has left Cuba isolated for decades.

A Democratic congressional delegation visited Cuba last week and issued a plea for both nations to normalize diplomatic relations and sort out their differences.
However, Obama said during his presidential campaign last year that he would keep the embargo in place, arguing that it provides political leverage to pressure the Cuban government over progress on human rights.

Conservative critics of Obama's new strategy on Cuba have said it could provide increased funds to prop up Cuba's one-party government.

Under rules enacted in 2004 by the administration of George Bush, Obama's predecessor, Cuban-Americans could travel to the island just once every three years and could send only $300 to their relatives.

The two nations have not had diplomatic ties since 1960, when the US severed them following the revolution under Fidel Castro.

Cubans say they offer health care to the world's poor because they have big hearts. But what do they get in return?

They live longer than almost anyone in Latin America. Far fewer babies die. Almost everyone has been vaccinated, and such scourges of the poor as parasites, TB, malaria, even HIV/AIDS are rare or non-existent.

Anyone can see a doctor, at low cost, right in the neighborhood.

The Cuban health care system is producing a population that is as healthy as those of the world's wealthiest countries at a fraction of the cost.

And now Cuba has begun exporting its system to under-served communities around the world—including the United States.

But it is increasingly well-known in the poorest communities of Latin America, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa where Cuban and Cuban-trained doctors are practicing.

Many elements of the health care system Cuba is exporting around the world are common-sense practices.

Everyone has access to doctors, nurses, specialists, and medications. There is a doctor and nurse team in every neighborhood, although somewhat fewer now, with 29,000 medical professionals serving out of the country—a fact that is causing some complaints.

If someone doesn't like their neighborhood doctor, they can choose another one.

By catching diseases and health hazards before they get big, the Cuban medical system can spend a little on prevention rather than a lot later on to cure diseases, stop outbreaks, or cope with long-term disabilities.

For health issues beyond the capacity of the neighborhood doctor, polyclinics provide specialists, outpatient operations, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and labs.

Those who need inpatient treatment can go to hospitals; at the end of their stay, their neighborhood medical team helps make the transition home.

Doctors at all levels are trained to administer acupuncture, herbal cures, or other complementary practices that Cuban labs have found effective.

And Cuban researchers develop their own vaccinations and treatments when medications aren't available due to the blockade, or when they don't exist.
For decades, Cuba has sent doctors abroad and trained international students at its medical schools.

But things ramped up beginning in 1998 when Hurricanes George and Mitch hammered Central America and the Caribbean.

As they had often done, Cuban doctors rushed to the disaster zone to help those suffering the aftermath. But when it was time to go home, it was clear to the Cuban teams that the medical needs extended far beyond emergency care.

So Cuba made a commitment to post doctors in several of these countries and to train local people in medicine so they could pick up where the Cuban doctors left off.

ELAM, the Havana-based Latin American School of Medicine, was born, and with it the offer of 10,000 scholarships for free medical training.

Today the program has grown to 22,000 students from Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the United States who attend ELAM and 28 other medical schools across Cuba.

The students represent dozens of ethnic groups, 51 percent are women, and they come from more than 30 countries.

In some cases, Venezuela pays the bill. But most of the time, Cuba covers tuition, living expenses, books, and medical care. In return, the students agree that, upon completion of their studies, they will return to their own under-served communities to practice medicine.

The curriculum at ELAM begins, for most students, with up to a year of “bridging” courses, allowing them to catch up on basic math, science, and Spanish skills. The students are treated for the ailments many bring with them.

At the end of their training, which can take up to eight years, most students return home for residencies. Although they all make a verbal commitment to serve the poor, a few students quietly admit that they don't see this as a permanent commitment.

One challenge of the Cuban approach is making sure their investment in medical education benefits those who need it most.

Doctors from poor areas routinely move to wealthier areas or out of the country altogether.

Cuba trains doctors in an ethic of serving the poor.

They learn to see medical care as a right, not as a commodity, and to see their own role as one of service. Stories of Cuban doctors who practice abroad suggest these lessons stick.

They are known for taking money out of their own pockets to buy medicine for patients who can't afford to fill a prescription, and for touching and even embracing patients.

Cuba plans with the help of Venezuela to take their medical training to a massive scale and graduate 100,000 doctors over the next 15 years, according to Dr. Juan Ceballos, advisor to the vice minister of public health. To do so, Cuba has been building new medical schools around the country and abroad, at a rapid clip.

But the scale of the effort required to address current and projected needs for doctors requires breaking out of the box.

The new approach is medical schools without walls. Students meet their teachers in clinics and hospitals, in Cuba and abroad, practicing alongside their mentors.

Videotaped lectures and training software mean students can study anywhere there are Cuban doctors. The lower training costs make possible a scale of medical education that could end the scarcity of doctors.

U.S. Students in Cuba
Recently, Cuba extended the offer of free medical training to students from the United States.

It started when Representative Bennie Thompson of Mississippi got curious after he and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus repeatedly encountered Cuban or Cuban-trained doctors in poor communities around the world.

They visited Cuba in May 2000, and during a conversation with Fidel Castro, Thompson brought up the lack of medical access for his poor, rural constituents. “He [Castro] was very familiar with the unemployment rates, health conditions, and infant mortality rates in my district, and that surprised me,” Thompson said.

Castro offered scholarships for low-income Americans under the same terms as the other international students—they have to agree to go back and serve their communities.

Today, about 90 young people from poor parts of the United States have joined the ranks of international students studying medicine in Cuba.

“Our government played politics with the lives of people when they needed help the most,” said Representative Thompson. “And that's unfortunate.”

When an earthquake struck Pakistan shortly afterwards, though, that country's government warmly welcomed the Cuban medical professionals. And 2,300 came, bringing 32 field hospitals to remote, frigid regions of the Himalayas. There, they set broken bones, treated ailments, and performed operations for a total of 1.7 million patients.

The disaster assistance is part of Cuba's medical aid mission that has extended from Peru to Indonesia, and even included caring for 17,000 children sickened by the 1986 accident at the Chernobyl nuclear plant in the Ukraine.

It isn't only in times of disaster that Cuban health care workers get involved. Some 29,000 Cuban health professionals are now practicing in 69 countries—mostly in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa. In Venezuela, about 20,000 of them have enabled President Hugo Chávez to make good on his promise to provide health care to the poor.

In the shantytowns around Caracas and the banks of the Amazon, those who organize themselves and find a place for a doctor to practice and live can request a Cuban doctor.

As in Cuba, these doctors and nurses live where they serve, and become part of the community. They are available for emergencies, and they introduce preventative health practices.

Some are tempted to use their time abroad as an opportunity to leave Cuba. In August, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced a new policy that makes it easier for Cuban medical professionals to come to the U.S. But the vast majority remain on the job and eventually return to Cuba.

How do the Cuban people feel about using their country's resources for international medical missions? Those I asked responded with some version of this: We Cubans have big hearts. We are proud that we can share what we have with the world's poor.

Nearly everyone in Cuba knows someone who has served on a medical mission. These doctors encounter maladies that have been eradicated from Cuba. They expand their understanding of medicine and of the suffering associated with poverty and powerlessness, and they bring home the pride that goes with making a difference.

And pride is a potent antidote to the dissatisfaction that can result from the economic hardships that continue 50 years into Cuba's revolution.

From the government's perspective, their investment in medical internationalism is covered, in part, by ALBA, the new trade agreement among Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Cuba. ALBA, an alternative to the Free Trade Area of the Americas, puts human needs ahead of economic growth, so it isn't surprising that Cuba's health care offerings fall within the agreement, as does Venezuelan oil, Bolivian natural gas, and so on. But Cuba also offers help to countries outside of ALBA.

“All we ask for in return is solidarity,”

“Solidarity” has real-world implications.

Before Cuba sent doctors to Pakistan, relations between the two countries were not great, Ceballos says. But now the relationship is “magnificent.” The same is true of Guatemala and El Salvador. “Although they are conservative governments, they have become more flexible in their relationship with Cuba,” he says.

Those investments in health care missions “are resources that prevent confrontation with other nations,” Ceballos explains. “The solidarity with Cuba has restrained aggressions of all kinds.” And in a statement that acknowledges Cuba's vulnerabilities on the global stage, Ceballos puts it this way: “It's infinitely better to invest in peace than to invest in war.”

Imagine, then, that this idea took hold.

Even more revolutionary than the right to health care for all is the idea that an investment in health—or in clean water, adequate food or housing—could be more powerful, more effective at building security than bombers and aircraft carriers.

At this time I petition for all health care workers around this globe and all their patients and all their loved ones to be enclosed with the White Light of the Holy Spirit…I petition and ask that in the Name of Mother and Father God and in the Name of Our Lord Jesus the Christ.

What has the fine pearl to do with the world of dust?
Loved Ones…What has the fine pearl to do with the world of dust?

Loved Ones when you return home no one will ask…

How much did you earn?

How many homes did you own?

How big was your fortune?

All that anyone in Heaven will want to know is

Who did you love?

How did you love them?

What loving acts did you do?

Where did you love them?

Why did you love them?

You and all your loved ones are always in my prayers

At every instant and from every side, resounds the call of Love:
We are going to sky, who wants to come with us?

We have gone to heaven, we have been the friends of the angels,

And now we will go back there, for there is our country.

We are higher than heaven, more noble than the angels:

Why not go beyond them? Our goal is the Supreme Majesty.

What has the fine pearl to do with the world of dust?

Why have you come down here? Take your baggage back. What is this place?

Luck is with us, to us is the sacrifice!...

Like the birds of the sea, men come from the ocean--the ocean of the soul.

Like the birds of the sea, men come from the ocean--the ocean of the soul.

How could this bird, born from that sea, make his dwelling here?
No, we are the pearls from the bosom of the sea, it is there that we dwell:

Otherwise how could the wave succeed to the wave that comes from the soul?

The wave named 'Am I not your Lord' has come, it has broken the vessel of the body;

And when the vessel is broken, the vision comes back, and the union with Him.

Former President Clinton unveils Bush Clinton Coastal Recovery Fund with Former President Bush and announces international expansion of the Lance Armstrong Foundation

President Clinton opened the fourth Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting today, bringing together nearly 60 current and former heads of state, five Nobel Peace Prize recipients, and hundreds of international CEOs, non-profit leaders, and major philanthropists to collaborate to make positive change in the world.

"Everyone who has come to CGI's Annual Meeting or is following it online has the power to make a difference," said President Clinton. "The commitments you will make this year-both at the meeting and on our web-portal MyCommitment.org-come at a time of great uncertainty for the world. This makes our collective ability to touch the lives of others more important than ever. Working together, we can help make a safer and more sustainable future."

This morning President Clinton and former President George H. W. Bush came together to announce the creation of the Bush Clinton Coastal Recovery Fund.

The Fund is designed to help recovery efforts for people in Texas and Louisiana who were affected by the 2008 hurricane season.

The former presidents have worked together in the past to raise money for recovery efforts after the 2004 Tsunami that affected Southeast Asia and Hurricane Katrina.
Among the commitments President Clinton announced in the opening session was the international expansion of the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

The Foundation will convene international leaders and launch a global public awareness and grassroots campaign to make cancer an international priority.
"Cancer will claim 8 million lives around the world this year. Tragically, many of these deaths can be prevented" said Lance Armstrong, cancer survivor, cycling champion and chairman and founder of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. "That is why I am using my return to professional sports to launch the LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Awareness Campaign.

It's an honor to be able to announce this campaign among the distinguished Clinton Global Initiative attendees and to appeal to them directly for support in this great endeavor."

By the end of the day commitments had been announced in the four focus areas:

Poverty Alleviation, Climate Change, Health and Education.

Information on some of the commitments announced today, including to "Mega Commitments" in the area of poverty alleviation is attached.

Jesse Ventura will become our greatest volunteer
Loved Ones…President Bush today asserted executive privilege to prevent Attorney General Michael Mukasey from having to comply with a House panel subpoena for material on the leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity.

Loved Ones please understand what this means to the security of our country….understand how this works….when a spy for the United States goes about their individual responsibilities they are risking their life and limb.

Imagine…what would happen if a spy for Ben Laden was leaked to the FBI…what do you think would happen?

Imagine… what would happen if a spy for the Palestinian resistance was in Israel and was leaked to the Israeli military…what do you think would happen?

Imagine if spy for Fidel Castro was leaked to the N.S.A…what would happen?

They would be killed/neutralized/radiated/poisoned….they would be eliminated.

So…Loved Ones…please understand that when our President and Vice President for political purposes leak the identity of an American Spy they are by act and by intention parties to purpose of murder…domestic extortion by Republican leadership of our American homeland security…

Also…loved ones….understand that…equally disgusting…this act by our American leadership tells all other covert American operatives that if they do not follow the desires of the Republican agenda they too are to be neutralized…neutralized by their own government…

Also ….loved ones…once this repulsive tactic is implemented then any American spies can be coerced into neutralizing other American spies just to save their own skin….a domestic countermeasures extortion…by our own Washington leadership….and you are taxes are paying for it…

Now combine that with all communications being monitored and you have a totalitarian state right here in North America…

A House committee chairman, meanwhile, held off on a contempt citation of Mukasey — who had requested the privilege claim — but only as a courtesy to lawmakers not present.

Among the documents sought by House Oversight Chairman Henry Waxman are FBI interviews of Vice President Dick Cheney.

Loved Ones…comprehend that every word spoken by House Oversight Chairman Henry Waxman are listened to by the Bush administration…with a wide variety of “intercepting techniques”…

They also include notes about the 2003 State of the Union address, during which President Bush made the case for invading Iraq in part by saying Saddam Hussein was pursuing uranium ore to make a nuclear weapon.

Loved Ones…understand that all this information turned out to be wrong.

Waxman rejected Mukasey's suggestion that Cheney's FBI interview on the CIA leak should be protected by the privilege claim — and therefore not turned over to the panel.

"We'll act in the reasonable and appropriate period of time," Waxman, D-Calif., said. But he made clear that he thinks Mukasey has earned a contempt citation and that he'd schedule a vote on the matter soon.

Loved Ones…do you think Dick Cheney would hesitate to have an operative of the Republican party neutralize Henry Waxman...radiation caused cancer?

Loved Ones…one of those directly involved in disseminating these frightening public announcements just died of cancer…White House spokesman Tony Snow at age 53….what do you think?

"This unfounded assertion of executive privilege does not protect a principle; it protects a person,"

Waxman said. "If the vice president did nothing wrong, what is there to hide?"

The assertion of the privilege is not about hiding anything but rather protecting the separation of powers as well as the integrity of future Justice Department investigations of the White House, Mukasey wrote to Bush in a letter dated Tuesday.

Several of the subpoenaed reports, he wrote, summarize conversations between Bush and advisers — are direct presidential communications protected by the privilege.
"I am greatly concerned about the chilling effect that compliance with the committee's subpoena would have on future White House deliberations and White House cooperation with future Justice Department investigations," Mukasey wrote to Bush. "I believe it is legally permissible for you to assert executive privilege with respect to the subpoenaed documents, and I respectfully request that you do so."

The new White House spokesman Tony Fratto said Bush invoked the privilege on Tuesday.
Waxman said he would wait to hold a vote on Mukasey's contempt citation until all members of the panel had a chance to read up on the matter.

The Bush administration had plenty of warning. Waxman warned last week that he would cite Mukasey with contempt unless the attorney general complied with the subpoena. The House Judiciary Committee also has subpoenaed some of the same documents from Mukasey, as well as information on the leak from other current and former administration officials.

Congressional Democrats want to shed light on the precise roles, if any, that Bush, Cheney and their aides may have played in the leak….the leak…the extortion of American values for political control…

State Department official Richard Armitage first revealed Plame's identity as a CIA operative to columnist Robert Novak, who used former presidential counselor Karl Rove as a confirming source for a 2003 article.

Around that time Plame's husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, was criticizing Bush's march to war in Iraq.

Cheney's then-chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, also was involved in the leak and was convicted of perjury, obstruction and lying to the FBI.

Last July, Bush commuted Libby's 2 1/2-year sentence, sparing him from serving any prison time.

Libby told the FBI in 2003 that it was possible that Cheney ordered him to reveal Plame's identity to reporters.

Loved Ones…do you think what is broadcast thru your cable into your living room is fair and honest…

do you believe that Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney and Carl Rove are putting you and all your loved ones in a position of fear… a position of threat….for political control….they are.

At this time I petition for the White Light of the Holy Spirit to surround and enclose all persons within the borders of our country…that we all learn our lessons with the least amount of pain…also I petition that when national domestic security becomes so bad all of our infants and children are at risk that the honorable Jesse Ventura step up and volunteers to lead this country back to our original values of strength and honesty….I petition and ask that in the name of Mother and Father God.

You and all your loved ones are always in my prayers,

why bush creates a civil war in Iraq
Loved Ones… the figurehead of the United States…and for the Republican Agenda gwbush stated yesterday…with polished delivery…."The situation on the ground remains tense. In the face of continued reports about killings and reprisals, I understand how some Americans have had their confidence shaken," speaking clearly he continued, "They wonder what I see that they don't."….

Loved Ones…some history may be of interest now…. British and American history 1942-1945…. not too long ago…. at the conclusion of WW Two…. the Americans and the British and the Russians were allies…We 3 were fighting the Nazis in Europe

We three countries were grinding and gradually defeating the powerful German Nazi forces…. pushing them back …as the Americans and British armies pushed back and closed the Military Noose around the retreating German Forces … the Americans and British also armed the growing Underground Resistance…. also while distancing themselves from Russia’s advancing armies…the Russians had lost over 7 million at this point and were focused on attacking Berlin to stop Hitler…

The American and British Command provided the French Resistance fighters and other resistance fighters on the ground with thousands of small arms…ammunitions…. automatic weapons…. demolitions …training for the demolitions targeting public transportation…. and in addition to providing the Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)…we/british and americans provided the materials and the training combined with very specialized covert countermeasures intelligence. …Utilized to manipulate/set-up the resistance fighters…

Allied Command told them to hold off…Ordered them to sit tight and wait for the signal …a song to be played over the Media/Radio…get ready…be prepared…and wait for the signal.

The British and American Commands both gave very direct orders to the Resistance. (Mostly communist sympathizers…not inclined to support a post war British/American Agenda) to sit tight and be prepared... any resistance fighter not going along with the plan got turned in by british countermeasures agents to the Gestapo who quickly made the uncooperative resistance fighter an example…

This strategic maneuver worked well as planned…. for the post WW Two British and Americans…

They made the communists become more easily controllable while the British and American allied forces slowly backed up and maneuvered the powerful retreating Germans into the resistance fighters back yards…very deliberately and specifically crowding them into small localized areas …and then the British and American Forces stopped advancing and encircled both the Germans and the Resistance…. then giving the Radio signal and standing back by while the Germans quickly eliminated all the Communists…. clearing the way for the post war Europe.

Specific areas where the remaining comparatively super powered German Army would be forced to easily kill ALL THE REMAINING COMMUNIST and RUSSIIAN SYMPYTHIZERS…

In other words the British and the Americans planned from the beginning …taking the long view and looking at post war Europe…

So for the British and the Americans the best way to insure the Resistance/and any potential opposition to them …… were ALL Killed was the crowding of the Germans into the resistance areas and then to HOLD OFF ALL ALLIED HELP till the resistance was quickly destroyed by the very powerful German war machine…

No match for small arms ….the Resistance got efficiently slaughtered after they got the signal over the Radio/media broadcast…. while British and American Armies deliberately stood by…

British and American soldiers stood by waiting for all the dirty work to be done efficiently…not much different for Iraq and the civil war happing today….

The civil war today in Iraq….after 3 years and 100,000 Iraqis killed …. After we “Liberated the Iraqis”…we arm our ‘resistance’ then stand back and watch the civil war take out the Iraqi people not supportive of the Republican Oil Agenda…

Iraqis eliminate themselves as we “STAND DOWN AS THEY STAND UP”

Loved ones…at this time I petition for all participants in all middle east conflicts to cease harming one another…as communicated in the Old Testament,” Vengeance is mine; I will repay saith the Lord; Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink…Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

I petition for the White Light of the Holy Spirit to enclose all our brothers and sisters in the Middle East…I petition and ask that in Mother God’s Name.
